It all started as an advertisement by BAE encouraging its employees to start robotic teams. Though Team 2813 was founded that year, we unfortunately was not able to compete in that competition year. The next school year in 2009, we were able to put the school robotics Team Up. We borrowed a robot from Pioneer High School’s Robotics Team and entered in the Regional. After Cal Games, we entered into the FIRST competition and built our first robot SPARK. We entered it into the Silicon Valley and Hawaii Regional's. We received the Rookie All Star Award and the Rookie top seed awards at the Silicon Valley regional. At Hawaii we were Finalist and after that we went to Atlanta.
