The Gear Heads owe a great deal of appreciation to all of the people and organizations that have provided assistance and guidance in getting the team going. This is a short tribute to that appreciation. The team would greatly appreciate your support in the years to come.

As a FIRST Partner, PTC grew their involvement in sponsoring the Gear Heads. Working with PTC has been an educational experience for the team, as they grew to use Windchill and began to convey the power and capability of Creo/ProE software. As the Gear Heads continue, these tools will see full use and be greater team benefit.

BAE Systems was the origin of the Prospect Gear Heads team. Begun by a team member parent employed by BAE Systems, the Gear Heads were launched into a successful first year by the grant funding and by the guidance of the BAE Systems FIRST community.

NASA is a partner of FIRST and has graciously provided the Gear Heads Team a grant to fund our competitions in the 2009 Honolulu Hawaii Regional, 2010 FRC and the 2011 FRC. Additionally, NASA Robotics Alliance has been supportive in providing a full arena for a practice session for robot testing.
NASA has been a great support of Science and Technology for all levels of learning. The FIRST Robotics Competition contribution by NASA is greatly appreciated. |

For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, FIRST is the origin of great educational experience for High School students that fosters unique perspectives of “gracious professionalism” and “cooperation”. FIRST is building innovative leaders, engineers, business entrepreneurs and contributing civilians to the next generation. |

Western Digital Corp has sponsored FRC Teams and even provided hard drives at the 2009 SV Regional to teams. The Gear Heads are fortunate to have WDS support and involvement. WDC’s support extended to providing a tour of their production equipment design department for an engineering insight experience. |
