2010 Robotics Challenge

Breakaway! the 2010 challenge in FRC in which “two alliances of three teams each compete on a 27' x 54' field with bumps attempting to earn points by collecting soccer balls in their goals. Additional bonus points are earned for each robot not touching the field at the end of the match.”

PLAY:

- Autonomous 15 seconds Robots attempt to score soccer balls

 

- Teleoperated 2 minutes* Humans help robots to score soccer balls

 

- Finale* Final 20 seconds Robots attempt to hang above the field

SCORING:

Ball in goal ............................................1 point

Robot hanging on tower ...........2 points

Robot hanging from another robot ......3 points
